Harold Paule (b. 1996) lives and works in Paris, France. He is a self-taught and emerging artist whose practice explores themes of displacement, reverse angles, and emptiness. Using oil pastels and acrylic pens on cardboard, his figurative works convey a sense of parallel and separate presence, confined to rigid rectangular forms. His work delves into impressions of strangeness, distance, and the tension between the inert and the living.

He completed his Master of Science in Art and Creative Industries at Kedge Business School and studied Art History and Archaeology at Université de Lille and Université Bordeaux Montaigne. His earlier education was in Literature and Social Sciences at Institution Les Chartreux. Before pursuing his artistic career, he worked at prestigious cultural institutions such as Musée du Quai Branly - Jacques Chirac and Centre Pompidou, contributing to cultural mediation and museum studies.

Harold Paul has been part of group shows at Open Art 2019, Aux Vivres de l’Art, Bordeaux, and a collective exhibition at La Minoterie, Ivry-sur-Seine (2024). He has participated in several artist residencies, including Atelier Claude Grand (2016), Atelier Fabienne Comte (2017), and an ongoing residency at 59 Rivoli, Paris (2024).
