Muriel Moreau (b. 1975) lives and works between India and France. She is an artist whose work explores the poetic dimensions of nature and the intersection between physical landscapes and introspective human terrains. Specializing in intaglio engraving, she reveals the often-invisible aspects of nature through her engravings, video, and animated film, creating a dialogue between material surroundings and personal perception.She completed her studies at École des Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg, specializing in intaglio engraving.

 

Muriel Moreau has been part of exhibitions at International Estampa Salon (Madrid), Institut Français (Madrid), ARPAC (Montpellier), Biennale Kochi-Muziris (India), Drawing Room at Ogami Press (Madrid), Galerie Frédéric Moisan (Paris), and Galerie Antonine Catzeflis, among others. She has participated in residencies at Casa de Velázquez (Madrid), Fondation J.P. Miro (Mallorca), and Kashi Art Gallery (Fort Kochi, India). Her work has been recognized with awards including the Pierre Cardin Engraving Prize (2007), First Prize from the Centre de la Gravure de Belgique, and the Lacourière Prize (2010, France).
