Nathalie Redard (b.1969) lives and works in Paris, France. Her work explores the meaning of color and its perception in relation to geography and identity through objects, canvases, pastels, and assemblages.
She graduated in publishing and press from the École des Arts Décoratifs de Paris, she initially pursued a career in artistic direction and styling. After several years in these fields, she became a freelancer to focus on her true passion: color. She has collaborated with designers, filmmakers, and architects in the field of materials and color.
She is currently working in collaboration with soil scientist Romain Anger on a book to be published by Éditions Ulmer, which will be accompanied by an exhibition. Additionally, she is collaborating with INRAP on research related to the pigmentary memory of soils
