Odonchimeg Davaadorj (b. 1990) lives and works in Paris, France. Her practice draws from diverse artistic techniques, rooted in her deep engagement with her immediate environments—both past and present. From her early years in rural Mongolia to her current experiences in a Western city, these influences serve as a foundation for explorations that shape her art.
Her work emphasizes relationships and exchanges between artist and audience, fostering benevolent modes of interaction. Through small yet meaningful gestures, she highlights the collective harmony that societies need, using “conversations” as a means of connection and reflection.
She graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts de Paris-Cergy. Her work has been exhibited at Galerie Premier Regard, Salon de Montrouge (2018), CAC Meymac, Transpalette, Gallery 976 in Ulaanbaatar, Fondation Hermès La Verrière in Brussels, as well as in San Francisco and Beirut. In 2013, she performed at the Palais de Tokyo.
Davaadorj has received numerous accolades, including the Salon de Montrouge ADAGP prize, and was nominated for the Drawing Now 2021 award.
