Rita Lira (b. 1996, Ukraine) lives and works in Paris, France. She is a choreographer and dancer whose practice blends contemporary dance with urban styles such as hip-hop, house, and popping, while also drawing from documentary art.

She graduated in contemporary choreography from Boris Grinchenko University, Kyiv. In 2017, she joined G. Dance Theater in Ukraine, working under choreographer Maria Korosteleva for over two years and participating in dance films such as G-effect and Phases.

Since 2019, Rita has been teaching contemporary and urban dance. She worked as a choreographer and director at Splash Theater-Studio (2019–2020) and as a faculty member at My Way Dance Centre (2021–2022). She is also a member of the All-Ukrainian Association Contemporary Dance Platform.

Forced to leave Ukraine in 2022, she was welcomed in residence and supported by La Briqueterie CDCN du Val-de-Marne. Through the PAUSE emergency program by the French Ministry of Culture, she spent a year in residence at the Cité Internationale des Arts, where both institutions supported the creation and presentation of her works The Way from/to and The Trap.
